We like that the j7+ is able to be scheduled to clean at different times and locations, as well as its compatibility with Alexa and Google Assistant. We didn't find it to be as adept at recognizing our voice however the robot's microphone can pick up a lot of background noise, which could interfere with its voice-activated features. The performance on the floor is impressive, collecting 9.35 grams of debris per run. This may seem like a lot but it's sufficient to keep up with a manual clean by the size of a large vacuum. It's not able to climb over high pile carpet and could become stuck on rug tassels. However, overall it's one of the best robots for bare flooring. The iRobot Genius feature is useful because it allows you to create custom floor plans that the j7+ will follow. You can schedule these plans to run automatically, as well as create a custom timer for when you would like the robot to begin cleaning. You can also use the map feature of the app to view which areas have been cleaned and which areas require attention. You can also set up 'no go zones' that prevent the robot from entering certain areas or rooms that you would prefer it to stay out of. The Jet Bot+ is a machine with high-tech features. It can detect obstacles and can even identify furniture dimensions, walls and other obstacles by using the front camera. The advanced sensors of the Jet Bot+ can stop it from crashing into objects such as charging cables and other objects that could cause damage to the surrounding. This high-tech robot vacuum can handle all kinds of debris, including pet hair. It was however challenged by the most massive type of debris cereal pieces that were abnormally large due to being stuck together. It was able to eliminate the majority of dirt and other debris from hardwood floors. However it did not get an absolute score. The Samsung Jet Bot+ is an excellent battery performer and will continue cleaning if necessary. It can also be paused and stopped mid-cleaning using the buttons that are smart on its body. In our tests the robot we tested had a powerful suction that easily removed dust and pet hair. It can also automatically adjust its suction to suit the floor it's working on, which is a nice feature when you have a variety of surfaces in your home. This is a feature that we haven't seen in any other self-emptying robotic vacuums. It can make a huge difference to how well your vacuum cleans. It can be programmed to clean an area, or you can alter your flooring in your home using the iRobot App. Eufy 11s The Eufy 11s robo-vac is an excellent option for those looking for a robovac that can do light cleaning on a daily basis and doesn't include lots of complex features. It is also quiet and can run for up to 100 minutes. The 11s isn't ideal for all floors. Particularly when you have carpets that have high pile. It comes with one main roller brush (which is a combination of bristles and rubber fins) and two tri-spoked side brushes. There are a number of different modes to choose from when using the 11s, including Auto Single Room, Spot and Edge. There's also a manual mode that lets you use the directional keys on the remote control to instruct it to go backwards, forwards left or right. In general the 11s does a good job of removing dust and large pieces of debris from hard floors, but it is unable to handle small particles like baking soda. It is also good at picking up hair from pets. It's not as sophisticated than other robot vacuums, and relies on bounce navigation technology rather than more sophisticated mapping software. This means it is able to ping-pong around the floor until the battery runs out and it's not ideal for homes with a lot of furniture or particularly dusty. In terms of maintenance The 11s's dirt compartment is easy to empty and has an open top. The filter should be cleaned every week and replaced every six months. The 11s is backed by a one-year warranty and eufy is known for being responsive to issues. Samsung Powerbot R7040 is an excellent robot vacuum that can be used on all kinds of flooring. It is better suited for carpeting with low pile and bare floors and has a larger dustbin, and is less expensive than the eufy RoboVac 11.
